Nothing like a rolling stone

...because, as you know, that gathers no moss.

I, on the other hand have been gathering moss (stich) like crazy.

Thats the back, and half of one sleeve, of Little Miss M's birthday jacket done. That's taken me 2 week so far, without really pushing it; about an average of an hour's knitting per night.

Maybe in the next day or two, with the back and sleeve done, I can justify to myself casting on a sock.

Oh it looks so pink in this photo! Not red!

What socky plans do you have, do you think?

I love that colour...don't care what it's supposed to be...It looks great to me.

Many thanks for the recipe. My kids LOVE LOVE LOVE waffles and I can't wait to make them German ones. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely - looks great (you can do all this moss stitch, but think you can't knit socks? You're crazy - if you can do this much moss stitch you can do ANYTHING

That will look so lovely when it's finished - great progress! Yes, it does look pink - I remember it being a lovely rich red. You'd better get it finished soon because now you're on the sock bandwagon, you will never get off!

What a huge chunk of moss stitch! it is a pretty color, and I'll bet it's something the god-daughter will use for her children.

Welcome to the sock cult! Now every time you work on another project, you'll think, "when's the next time I can really do a sock?"

Wow! That's some quick moss stitch! It looks lovely!

Nice work on the sock too. I love the idea of the little mini one as a practise. Being a sock virgin myself, I can vouch for the fact that once you get into the knitting of them they are very enjoyable indeed!! I'm almost finished my first of the two turtle walk socks from Ms Spider's workshop... and it's great fun! Enjoy :)
