An apology...

...to anyone who read last night's ill-conceived and self-indulgent post before I removed it. Especially to Bells and Polly who took the time to comment (very usefully, I might add - thank you).

I decided it wasn't particularly appropriate for a public blog, and although I'm not certain about my feelings on posting then deleting, I felt it was better to err on the side of prudence.

Sorry.

Normal services will resume shortly.

Oh George, I thought it was an interesting post but you are right to make that call for yourself if you want to.

I have no idea what your post was about ... but I think posting then deleting is perfectly OK. Sometimes I write long whingy emails to friends and then never send them. It's like online therapy.

Did you get whatever it was out of your system?

PS The Botteh is coming along nicely. Everyone asks where I got the yarn. Special friend, I say! Then I grab the yummy yarn back out of their hands before they felt it with all that stroking.

I've done that too, written whiney crabby posts, and then deleted them. It's good therapy!

Hope you're feeling better or whatever soon :)

Hey George, I didn't see it. Hope you're all right.

I got your post on the bloglines feed - and don't worry - everybody has whiny days. Yours actually had merit and substance to it.

Now, will you make an appearance at SnB this Sunday, and if so... how much do I owe you? :)

I missed it... but I've been there. We probably all have posts we wish we hadn't hit the publish button on, and sometimes you're thankful for those delete post keys. Hope everything is OK!
