It has to be A. For some reason, after 31 years my brother still has not learnt the correct way, you can always tell he has changed the toilet paper roll. The other dead giveaway is the empty roll on the floor!
Absolutely has to be B. Can't stand A at all even without the kids sitting there playing with it while they supposedly do their business if it's the other way up. I just find it easier to tear!
Re: your last post (I've been trying to read but can't always comment). You sound like me when I had a newborn and a 2yo. It really is a slog some days. Some mornings I'd look around at all I had to do before I could even get out of the house and I'd just feel utter despair. I had the added after-effects of a traumatic birth and that first year was so, so hard. When the baby turned one I felt like I was coming out of a haze. It really does help to make sure your eyes are open to the magic in the everyday. xo
Sounds like I'm in the minority here but B. I will change it if someone in the house puts in on the other way. In the middle of the night, I don't want to be playing around with the t-paper! I want to know which way it rolls!
I have thought and thought and I feel in the real minority because I don't have a preference. It's toilet paper. I get in and get out and don't pause to consider such things.
But if pressed, I would say B and have no idea why!
A. Oddly enough we were discussing this issue at a family do recently. My brother's FIL says that only women and pessimists choose B. He's been changing the roll at his house from B to A for the last 45 years.
Absolutely no question about it: A! Why would you want the paper against the wall? It's harder to get hold, potentially rubbing against a dusty wall - eek. Everytime I visit my inlaws I have to turn it the other way or I just can't relax! The next big question is: scrunch or fold? but you might not want to go that far!!
A - unless you've got a pet that likes to unwind toilet paper, then it has to be B. I have an ongoing, unspoken argument with H.I.. He always turns the paper about and I turn it back again. I can see this still happening in about another 20+ years. Scarey.

But B if you have a small child that likes unravelling the toilet paper.

But TBH not really bothered. Amazes me that some people are really worried about which way, all I care is that there is some there lol
A.
But people at work do B and it drives me INSANE. I have to change the roll the other way. When I got back in there, they've changed it again.
Other than that, it's a great place to work! LOL

Thank goodness for you Leonie - thought I was going to be the only one!
Definitely has to be B - A just looks wrong - well to me anyway!
a) definitely a). b) is just wrong on all kinds of levels. Nice post idea too!!!
A - especially if there's a print on the paper!!
B but A is often easier to use. If I change it and it's A, then I'll find it changed back. LOL
A
A always A. If its B I'll turn it around and make it A.
A
Too funny. A for me.
A. Has to be.

I will even turn my father-in-law's around when I'm at his house - oh, and I turn the ones at my husbands office. (LOL!)

A all the way. B is just too icky, having loo paper touching the wall that's going to be touching your tush too! Icky.
Anyway, doesn't matter in this house. Hmmmph. I'm *ALWAYS* the one who gets to change the toilet roll.
Oh yeah, it's A all the way. But like Carol, I'm always the one to change the toilet roll anyway...
(and for record...fold, not scrumch!)

Definitely A. But I'm gong to try Twitchy Fingers' tip the the first comment!
Round here it is plan b with a small squish to the roll. We use far less that way.
